I finally wanted a decent scope for my .22 so I looked around and thought for $30 why not take a chance? I was pleasantly surprised because I have heard both good and bad as far as Barska's quality. I'm sold now. I would not hesitate to buy another Barska for any of my other rifles. This one is mounted on my Marlin model 60. I've got it dialed in at 50 yards and I can shoot less than 1" groups. I liked it so much that I bought another one for my dad's Remington 572 pump. Keep in mind that this is a fixed power scope. I actually prefer that because I hate having to look through what seems like a pinhole when a variable power scope is turned up to full power. Anyway, I love the clarity and the sight picture. The tabs on the vertical and horizontal adjustments make sighting in a breeze with no tools required.

This scope is pretty good and it fit my Marlin model 60 OK. Out at the range after a little sighting in I was hitting a 2" target consistently at about 60 yds. I plan to go back and practice my shooting and fine tune the sights.

I put this scope on a Marlin model 60 .22 caliber rifle. I used a laser bore sighter and had the scope adjusted in just a few minutes. I haven't had an opportunity to check the accuracy on the firing range. The optics are very clear and the large viewing makes it easier to get on target.

Got a deal on a Remington Mod 5 .22, mfg by Zastava in Serbia, (nice honest gun, by the way).
I didn't want to spend the money for a Leupold, and I have a Barska spotting scope, which has
decent optics. Sooo, I'm looking at this 4 power for [...] bucks, with the mounting rings thrown in,
(I paid that for the mount rings alone for my last scope), and figure "why not?". A 22 isn't going
to be too hard on it.
End result? I've had it out 4 times for an extended periods, with good results. Hitting golf balls consistently at 100 yds (3 out of five, which is as good as I shoot) The scope holds it's adjustments well, I havn't had to change them since zeroing in. It has a nice clear sight picture.
I've always been suspicious of low end optics, but this one is a winner. Don't know how well it
takes abuse, but so far I quite happy with it. Would have paid twice as much. Mounting rings are a
little clunky, but that's a minor quibble.

My friend and I went to the range to test out a new gun and this scope. After a few minutes of adjusting, I was shooting as well as my friend who has a $160 scope. We swapped scopes, adjusted again and then he was shooting better with this scope on his gun, so it wasn't the gun, ammo, or shooter. I would buy this again and my friend is thinking about buying this one or another from Barska.
