I got these binoculars because we have been having problems with people lurking around our house. Plus my girlfriend is newsy. Also to watch my child while he plays on the basketball courts. Well the first thing i noticed is the + & - for the right lens is always out of focus.(see no see). that is not a big problems cause they still serve there purpose but hopefully they do not get worse cause then they will become useless. for the price im happy though.

I wanted inexpensive binoculars for occasional birdwatching - concerts -blockwatches, and such. These work very nicely for less than $16.00 and I would recommend them to those of you who are buying binoculars for similar activities and don't want to spend a lot of money. I find them easy to adjust and I'm delighted that I can use them without my eye glasses! I can see clearly birds, houses, cars, license plates, street signs, people, WHATEVER, down our street for almost two blocks and I'm happy with that; but, don't expect much in the "carrying case" although it does have a belt loop - and the neck strap is really a neck "lace" - a thin, black, braided, almost athletic-lace-type "strap" that will not feel good around the neck for very long. I will have to improve upon the "strap" as we're going to a concert soon. These Barska binoculars will get the job done for us, and if I should break them or lose them, I won't be out that much!
