I bought this spotting scope about a month ago and I'm very happy with my purchase. For the price, this setup can't be beat. The laser is a gimmick and the stand isn't the best, but overall I'm satisfied. My favorite thing about this scope is that it adjusts so that the eyepiece can be set at eye level. This is great when shooting from a bench.

For the price you will be hard pressed to find a better spotting scope. Very clear images in nearly all lighting conditions from 20-40x. On a cloudy day 60x is a little dim but on a sunny day there is no problem. I have no trouble focusing at any magnification. The body of the scope is nice and solid. I like how the objective lens cover can be pulled out and used for a lens shade. I have had no fogging problems. My laser works and it is relativity easy to 'sight in' with the view of the scope but I really don't see the purpose. I does help in aligning the scope at distances less then 50-60yds but you can't see it (without the scope) past that distance in daylight. The tripod is kinda of cheap but it is light weight and works fine. I really don't see how one could break/bend it unless they kept throwing it at a wall.

Very happy with this scope. Bought it for $55 shipped, can't be beaten. Bought it to use at the shooting range once or twice a month, for 100 yard, .30 caliber shooting, works great. At 200 yards I can read license plates, haven't tried 200 yard bullet holes. Dust cap tends to pop open on its own, but heh, @ $55,& a crisp bright picture @ 100 yds, WHO CARES ???? 5 stars and highly recommended to all those on budget constraints, or just wishing to save a few $$$'s.

This spotting scope has everything going for it. Size, weight, carrying case, laser spotter, clean view, excellent optics. A must for anyone into going to the range for target practice. For practice I spotted a billboard about 1/2 mile away, far enough that one couldn't read the smaller print. With the scope, it appeared as if I had it in my hand reading it. An excellent choice.

I can see better with my 3-9 * 40 nikon scope. It's cheap and that's what you get.
