I took the scope out of the box, took it outside to try it out and was shocked at how poorly it worked. On the lowest power it worked fine, but as you turned the magnification up the size of the field got smaller and smaller until, at maximun power it was like looking through a pinhole. Objects did not appear closer and closer. You just saw less and less as the sides just shrunk in. I immediately returned it. The service from Amazon.com was very good.

This is exactly what I wanted. It took me a while to figure out how to focus it for long distances but once I did it was awesome.
