Customer Buzz
 "Great features, poor accuracy" 2010-06-27
By Un Sang Oum
First off I want to say, don't buy this scope. I did a lot of research on this scope as well as other scopes made by Sightmark. In general most had positive things to say about it. I really liked all the features this scope had. Everything I wanted in a scope and I mean everything including the price was perfect. When I got the scope, I took it to an outdoor range to zero it in on my Bushmaster ACR .223/5.56mm AR. I must have fired close to 50 rounds when I came to the conclusion that the scope (with the windage and elevation knobs turned all the way) was still off by 2 feet down and to the left. I then took the scope out to an indoor range the next day along with my M&P-22 .22LR AR just to make sure it wasn't me that was bad. Nope. Same issue. I contacted Sellmark who owns Sightmark, and within 2.5 days, I had a brand new scope. I took the new scope out to the outdoor range again with my ACR and M&P-22. The shots were much better, but it was still off by 6 inches. Now all shots were taken at 50 yards so this level of accuracy or lack thereof is really bad. In the end, I returned the scope back for a refund and opted for a Nikon Buckmaster. The new scope only took a few shots to zero. Unfortunately, I was out $80 for all the shipping costs and $$$ for wasted ammo. Your experience with this scope may vary, but word to the wise - stay away from this one.
