Since I was looking for a scope for my hunting shotgun, I decided I wanted a high quality glass, that would last a lifetime. Since this scope is designed for a slug gun, it has a very long eye relief, and a very compact design. Great clarity and light transmission, and I love the lifetime warranty. If you follow the instructions for the BDC reticle very carefully, you can make very accurate shots out to 200 yards! Which is incredible for a shotgun slug!
