APPEARANCE: I purchased this scope for a Saiga 223, which it compliments quite lovely. The finish is actually a matte, though the picture here makes it look glossy. This scope does not come with rings, though that's fine with me as it did not advertise so, and usually scopes don't anyway.



FUNCTIONALITY: The ability to adjust focus and zero and all that is great on this scope. Easy to use and full of adjusting (if you're OCD about your settings like me). It comes with two clear lens covers that have a mild tint that brings out the light in a more color contrasted way. Zoom works excellent and is smooth to operate.



DELIVERY ON PROMISES: This scope loses on star here because it's ability to take in light is good, but not great. I can see well at dusk or in a rain storm, but it has a hard time adjusting to a good focus when it's even darker, like a moonlit night. It can focus pretty well, but not crystal clear at maximum zoom in the dark.



Overall, I still recommend this scope to a beginner or intermediate hobbyist who would appreciate plenty of zoom. For the price vs functionality, it is definitely an excellent buy.

I bought one of these about a year ago for $99 on sale and have had it on a few small caliber rifles although it has now found a long term home on my Ruger 10/22. You can read the specs for yourself, it has everything that was advertised. I bought it primarily to sit on a 22LR and to put holes in paper at 50 and 100yds during the daytime. I need a bit more scope than most people. It is excellent at that and I highly recommend it. While it seems perfectly serviceable at twilight, of course it doesn't have the brightness or clarity of a $2000 scope then but it looks good in daylight and that's all that I need. I've also only shot it on 22 caliber rifles so I don't know how shockproof it is, but it has been fine for my use and very stable. It also hasn't fogged even when going from AC to 95 deg. & 90% humidity. It seems to be well made and all of the adjustments work well. The only strange thing is that it has "1/8" marked on the adjustment knobs while each click is actually 1/4 MOA - maybe it's inherently set up for 50 yds? One other note if you haven't used a high power scope, put good rings on it, it will make a big difference. Here is a photo of it on my Ruger (http://www.stingersplace.com/rimfire/1022/) although I've now upgraded the rings.



Take home message, it's a great deal for the money if your needs are similar to mine.

This is the best AO airgun scope for the money. I'm about to buy a 3rd one of these for my new rifle. "Airgun-rated" scopes are tougher than high-power rifle scopes (such as I have on my .308) because springer airguns have 'two-way' recoil which will knock the reticle loose in most non-airgun-rated scopes.



This scope is sharp and bright at full magnification, has MIL-DOT reticle for range-finding, and the Adjustable Objective lets you bring the target into focus with the reticle and eliminate parallax from 10 yards (necessary for airgun use) to infinity.



I have already searched--there is no better value.

This is a good scope for the price, since I had a $30 credit from opening an account. So, it ended up costing about $30. As far as the scope goes; it fits nicely on my RWS 34 .22. But, only lasted 1 week before the range ring came loose and would fall off everytime I shot my rifle. Amazon was quick to replace it and I hope the original was just a fluke. Other than that the scope was great while it lasted and if the replacement holds up I will consider it a good purchase.

I have not been able to get to the range yet to try it out on my 10/22. I have, however, examined it closely and looked through it through the full range of magnification. It is clear throughout. The materials quality is not quite that of my more expensive scopes, but it is sufficient. The adjustments are crisp and distinct. This scope was recommended by a custom builder of 10/22 rifles who installs them on the ones that he sells.

My dad bought this scope for his 30.06 deer rifle about a month ago. He raved about it's performance during the sighting in process. He then used it to bag a monster 12 point @ appx. 200 yards, drilled it right where he put the xhairs on opening morning.



The old Simmons scope on my .300WMG broke that morning and fogged up. Since Dad's hunt was done, I borrowed his rifle/scope combo and hit the woods the next three days, where I used it to drop a nice 5 point at about 75 yards, popped him right where I set the hairs. This scope provided an unbelievable field of view and really cut through the glare as I was looking into the rising sun. I could barely see my deer with the naked eye due to the glare, but he was crystal through the scope. I could see the individual whiskers on his face!



I love Barska products' performance and price. I can't attest to their reliability but that's only because I have not owned any of their products for more than a year, but so far so good. I will be buying this model Barska to replace that craptastic Simmons on my .300WMG



4 stars only b/c the reliability grade is "Incomplete;" otherwise it would be a 5.

This is a wonderful scope, especially for the price range. I had it bore-sited onto my .22, and after dialing it in, I'm now consistently hitting targets out to 100 yards. The image is clear and sharp, and the cross hairs are small enough not to cover your target, but easily seen. Focuses with amazing clarity on anything over 25 yards or so, and the magnification works beautifully for me, all the way up to 20x. The elevation and windage dials work beautifully. The only thing to be warned of is the fact that the 50mm objective lens is huge! This makes the scope function incredibly, but I had to buy really tall scope rings to get the scope high enough off the barrel. I can't recommend this scope highly enough.

I had been looking for an inexpensive 6-24X50 scope for bench shooting out to 300 yards. I came across this scope & it was too cheap to pass up. I figured if it wasn't up to snuff; I would put it on rim-fire & have some short range fun with it. Wrong - I love it - nice and clear up to 16 power; It starts to get fuzzy on max power. This works so well; I use as a spotting scope when using a 3x9-40. Great scope for under $ 75.00. Knowing what I know now; I would probably pay up to $ 125.00 for this.
