typical chinese mfg stuff.... works all right, optix are ok. not a quality scope, but not bad for the money. if you are looking for a cheap scope that sort of works, this will do. at higher magnification it is very difficult to get your eye in the right place to see through it. lower magnification... it works pretty well.

The scope has real sharp images until you start zooming past 7 or 9 on the setting. Very bright image, good eye relief.

It didn't fit my rifle though because it's only has 5 inches of mounting room. The illuminated reticle is a plus. The clicker could have been bigger for easier adjustment. All in all a great scope for the price.

Great scope for the price. 50mm objective lens makes it nice and bright, focused clearley at 12 power. Put a couple hundred rounds through a .22LR Remington Viper that I got it for and it zeroed in nicely due to the Finger Turnable Click-knobs and held zero through out multiple range changes; 50 -to- 200 yards.

This Barska so far is an excellent scope for the money. If you don't have $400+ for a nice scope I would recommend this Huntmaster Pro.

The clarity so far has been excellent down range. I put this on my .308 and haven't had any scope malfuctions yet. I do see a big muzzle flash but my

muzzle brake I ordered should keep that to a minimum.

The lighted retical in this scope is pretty nice at dusk when your out shooting late. Of course it's not really going to compare to those $400+ rifles lets be honest about that.

Pros: Price, Clarity is excellent so far, lighted retical works great, smooth adjustment on range, windage and elevation clicks are good so far.

Cons: None, I haven't had any probs with it yet and I hope I don't

About sighting it in, well I'm waiting for the new muzzle brake and higher scope mounts but I'm sure it will be a breeze.

I recieved the barska scope immediately put it on my 30-06 and within 5 shots the scope was sighted in and that's without a bore sight first. i can honestly say that i would not be afraid to take a 200 yard shot with the scope on my 30-06. all in all a good scope for the money. i would highly recommend this item.

the scope is an awesome buy. i bought it to replace a bushnell 3-9 that was on the rifle when i bought it. i am not disappointed in the least.



buy it and you won't be let down. the optics are clear and sharp. the crosshair illumination is a very nice feature. forget what people say about barska and try it out for yourself, i'm glad i did.

Scope will not hold a zero. I attempted to sight it on two different 22 rifles and it will not zero. As soon as it gets close all of a sudden the placement of the shots goes all over the target. I can hold good groups with both guns using open sights so it's not the guns or the ammo. I am returning this scope for a refund.

I just purchased this scope from sportsmansguide for my M4 A2, upon arrival i was very impressed with the quality, beats tasco and centerfire and the bsa scopes for sure. Everybody seems to hate, or throw-off on this or these brand scope but the first day of shooting with it I zeroed it in at 100 yards, then shot again from 200 yards and turned the turret on top to 2 and had 1" to 1 1/2" groupings at 200 yards after a 20-30 rounds my grouping wasnt to great at 100 yards but I found out why. It was because I didnt check the mount screws that came on it and the scope has loosened up because i didnt check the tightness, so I have got to adjust that, other than that I give it an A+ All features are not perfect - perfect but for 59.00 I think its well worth the money. Good for tactical/plinking/or medium range sniping.

Just received the scope in the mail several days ahead of schedule. There were a couple of spots where the paint wasn't completely covering the metal so there were some minor visual defects. As far as how well it works I'm not sure if it holds a zero as I haven't fired it yet but the sight glass is kinda blurry so that is irritating esp at higher magnifications as other people have posted. It also didn't have mil dots as I expected, it has the regular hash marks that are normally on scopes, whatever they are called. As far as the illumination of the reticle goes, it isn't uniform lighting throughout. The left side of the crosshairs doesn't get as much light as the rest of the sight.
